Our Programs
People with substance use issues may face many barriers in recovery,
so our programs are designed to break some of them down by focusing on the whole person and providing a full spectrum of support and resources to help navigate their journey to recovery.
Resource Lab

This space provides members with daily access to computers and printers. It's designed to assist individuals with resume writing, employment searches, email setup, and monitoring and copying needed material.
Peer Support

The Peer recovery support program will offer the opportunity to connect to others with lived experience who have faced similar challenges in
recovery. The "Day 29 Program" will work as a conduit to assist individuals released from treatment facilities with transitioning into society.
Support Groups

We are proud to host meetings that bring together various support networks such as AA, NA, Smart Recovery, HA, Refuge Recovery, Sounds of Recovery, Recovery Yoga, and LGBTQIA Recovery. We believe that these meetings provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking recovery
Naloxone Training

We offer free naloxone training to help save lives and combat opioid overdoses in our community.
Barber & Haircuts

Our barber and Haircut program provides compassionate and professional grooming services to help boost self-esteem and confidence. We believe everyone deserves to look and feel their best, regardless of their circumstances.
Professional Closet

Our professional clothing closet will provide free business attire to those in need in our community to help individuals feel confident and succeed in the workplace. Our goal is to ensure everyone has access to appropriate clothing for job interviews, networking events, and everyday work attire.
Day 29

Day 29 is a peer-led recovery support program designed for individuals transitioning from treatment back into the community. We provide case management, peer recovery support, transportation, and access to essential services like housing referrals, ID assistance, and job readiness. Our program helps participants stay connected through weekly check-ins, group activities, and a structured support schedule—all centered around building stability and long-term recovery.
JAZ Youth Group

The JAZ (Judgment-Free Acceptance Zone) Youth Program is a free, weekly support program for Will County youth ages 14–18 who are experiencing or at risk for substance use and behavioral health challenges. Held every Tuesday from 4–6 PM at the Recovery Community Center of Joliet, JAZ offers a safe space for teens to connect, build coping skills, engage in positive activities, and receive ongoing support. The program features peer discussion, team-building, creative projects, and substance-free outings, along with monthly family engagement nights and quarterly group outings to promote connection, healing, and healthy lifestyles both at home and in the community.
